When one says nasi lemak, I was expected rice cooked with coconut milk and a dash of pandan taste. But apparently in Kedah, it tastes like ‘nasi minyak’. More of a ‘nasi kandar’ type of food, the curries were good. Fried chicken was moist and tasty. If one has gone to its branch in Shah Alam, then one should come here to have a taste of the more authentic nasi royale at its birthplace!
