About Pantai Balok
About 15 kilometers north of Kuantan is Balok Beach, a popular venue for windsurfing. Catch the many stunts and antics of amateur and professional windsurfers as they boldly challenge the rolling waves of Balok Beach. The beach is acknowledged as one of the 10 best beaches in the world by the international wind-surfing and kite-surfing sportsmen.
Balok hosts the Balok Wind Challenge or Kuantan Challenge annually and participated by top sportsmen and women from all over the world.
Many of the activities here revolve around the string of international resorts and hotels that line the beach. The beach is famous for its seafood and Thai food restaurants.

Jika kalian tidak tahu ingin ke mana weekend ini anda boleh bercuti atau berkelah dan makan angin sambil rmeredakan tekanan. Anda boleh ‘mencuci mata’ serta mencari calon “cinta hati” di Pantai Balok atau Pantai Batu Hitam, Kuantan Pahang. Ramai gerombolan bujang-bujang yang ber “babeque” dan berkhemah di sini.
Don’t worry. jika kalian tiba di Kuantan, sepanjang perjalanan dari Kuantan ke Kemaman kalian akan berjumpa dengan banyak sekali pantai sepanjang perjalanan seperti Pantai Sepat, Teluk Chempedak, Pantai Beserah, Pantai Batu Hitam, Pantai Balok, Cherating dan Pantai Kemaman dan terus ke Terengganu. Memang pantai sajalah yang kalian temui ye (nama pun pantai timur) tidak cukup itu.
Memang sepanjang jalan juga akan dihiasi gerai-gerai menjual keropok lekor, sata, otak-otak dan segala jenis makanan laut. So just enjoy your weekend bersama insan tersayang. Berhati-hati ketika memandu dan jangan marah-marah jika driver depan “slow”.

Hotel berdekatan Pantai Balok ini memang banyak tetapi paling famous adalah De Rhu Beach Resort. Jika anda risau mengenai makanan, dekat sini banyak kedai makan best, antaranya Nasi Ayam Noor, Sara Thai Kitchen, Pattani dan macam-macam lagi.
Balik saja dari pantai saya berjumpa dengan group kanak-kanak berbasikal ini tepi dekat jalan menghala ke pantai. Jadi, drive slow-slow ye kerana sini juga adalah kawasan kanak-kanak berbasikal dan bermain. Seterusnya mari kita melawat Pantai Batu Hitam pula. Pantai Batu Hitam ini jika drive dari Pantai Balok hanya mengambil masa 10 minit. (Pantai Balok dari Cherating dalam 15-20 minit).
