Customer Reviews about Taman Negara Sungai Relau

Taman Negara Sungai Relau Pahang Ikan Kelah Sanctuary

Ikan Kelah is the Malay word for the highly protected Mahseer. Taman Negara Pahang in Malaysia has several rivers designated as sanctuaries for this fish. This fish is a schooling river fish and is therefore an omnivore. They will readily eat fallen fruit in the wild as well as live shrimp and pellets. They are not predators in the sense of the usual definition i.e., no sharp teeth and aggressiveness but they will eat their share of anything smaller than themselves.

Visiting Taman Negara Pahang and coming to one of the sanctuaries is a highlight of any visit to the park. We arrange Ikan Kelah sanctuary visits for independent and group travelers.
