Not to be missed if you are into local food hunt. Their Mee Goreng (Fried Noodle) & Mee Rebus (Soup Noodle) are to go for! Have it with you Teh Tarik (Hot Milk Tea) or Teh Ais (Iced Milk Tea) for breakfast or teatime. The restaurant is a humble set up, not fancy or heavy decoration interior, made you feel like eating in the 70’s or 80’s The price is reasonable, cheap i must say, but what to expect, everything to eat in Alor Setar are in the same range. Indulge!

As a Singaporean, I am feeling delight to eat these special foods that serve in Restoran Mee Abu, it is a delicious plate of noodle for such affordable price. But a bit hot because open air space with no fan. Now this is the restaurant that I am looking for during my vacations in Kedah. Do not worry about losing your pocket money because the price is worth for money you pay. Thumbs up to the restaurant.

This restoran maintained their recipe of their noodle delicacy since the early 70s. I will never miss to frequent this restaurant whenever I am Alor Star or Jitra. The restaurant has also offered a very good murtabak in the town.

Restoran Mee Abu Alor Setar “A surprising very tasty Mee lunch”

People told us this restaurant has the best fried and soup noodle, so my wife and I went here for lunch. A clean restaurant and very friendly staff 4/5. We ordered Mee goreng mamak 4/5 and Mee Robus 4/5, Teh Tarik kurang manis 4/5, fun to be here, we will come back when in the neighborhood! Lunch can be a real pleasure!
