With tourism continuing to grow in the Cameron Highlands region, BOH built the visitor centre and café in 2007. Dubbed J.A.’s balcony after BOH’s founder J.A. Russell, its iconic 20-foot overhanging balcony that doubles as viewing deck has made Sungei Palas Tea Garden a must-visit destination in the Cameron Highlands. In 2019, the visitor centre was expanded to include a new section.
Aptly dubbed Tristan’s Terrace, the new section has a seating capacity of 200 people with a gorgeous panoramic view, which only enhancing the unique hospitality experience and tea-drinking pleasures BOH offers.
