    Tapak Perkhemahan

Seronok Tak Kea Farm Cameron Highlands?

    1. Harga di Kea Farm agak mahal berbanding di pasar malam. Baik buah-buahan mahupun sayur-sayuran. Bila sampai Kea Farm, rasa macam aduhai kenapalah tak beli di pasar malam semalam.
    2. Tempat tak menarik rasa senang untuk membeli.
    3. Lokasi Kea Farm pun agak jauh dari Tanah Rata. Kecuali kalau memang balik ikut Simpang Pulai. Kalau nak balik ikut Tapah, beli saja di pasar malam.

Hiking Gunung Brinchang in Cameron Highlands

When to Cameron Highlands (CH) last October. CH located in Perak, about 2 hours from Ipoh and 5 hours from KL by bus. The average temperature is below 27’c along the year because of the altitude. There are many Strawbery Farm, Vegetables farm, Tea Plantation and many more. If you are coming here, I recommend u to stay at Brinchang rather than Tanah rata. It is because of the location for many farms.

Discover the Boh Tea Plantation and Sungai Palas Plantation in Cameron Highlands, where you can enjoy guided tours, explore interactive educational studios, shop at retail outlets, and relax at charming cafes. Experience the beauty of tea cultivation and indulge in breathtaking views while learning about the tea-making process.

    Overview

You can visit Boh Tea Center and Sungai Palas Plantation. It is operated by Malaysia’s largest tea company. Tours available to visit their tea factory. They provide interactive educational studio, a retail outlet, and a nice cafe. Stunning vistas of rolling hills amidst a carefully tendered tea plantation.

The drive up the hill can be very narrow at stages, so be extra aware when drivin up. The view from the top of nearby hill at the plantation is worth the effort of climbing up. Tea Plantation Cameron Highlands – For decades, Cameron Highlands has attracted visitors to its cool jungles, quaint Tudor-style houses, fresh vegetables and fragrant teas. Cameron Highlands is one of the country’s most fertile agricultural spots, possessing all the right attributes for growing outstanding tea, and is situated over 5,000 feet above sea level on the main mountain range of Malaysia.

The true character of BOH’s teas is greatly influenced by the conditions at the tea gardens, namely high altitude, low temperatures, abundant rainfall and acidic soil. With amazing landscapes and stunning panoramic views, the tea gardens are truly picturesque.

    History

Tea Plantation Cameron Highlands – BOH acquired the Sungei Palas Tea Garden in the 1950’s. At the time, the land was in a dire state and a far cry of what it is today. However, BOH’s then Chairman, Tristan Russell, saw the potential of Sungei Palas and over the years turned the ailing land into a lush tea garden recognisable across Malaysia and by international travellers.

With tourism continuing to grow in the Cameron Highlands region, BOH built the visitor centre and café in 2007. Dubbed J.A.’s balcony after BOH’s founder J.A. Russell, its iconic 20-foot overhanging balcony that doubles as viewing deck has made Sungei Palas Tea Garden a must-visit destination in the Cameron Highlands. In 2019, the visitor centre was expanded to include a new section.

Aptly dubbed Tristan’s Terrace, the new section has a seating capacity of 200 people with a gorgeous panoramic view, which only enhancing the unique hospitality experience and tea-drinking pleasures BOH offers.

Tea Plantation Cameron Highlands – Filled with rich history dating back almost a century, BOH Tea Garden is the home of BOH’s first tea factory its largest and oldest tea garden. The breath taking-journey to the tea centre for a sip of a delicate, rich and fresh brewed tea is a satisfactory journey for any tea lover.

Spanning over 465 hectares, BOH Tea Garden is the largest and oldest of BOH’s tea gardens. It is the home of BOH’s first tea factory which was built in the 1930’s. The near 2-kilometre journey from the entrance of the tea garden to the tea centre is filled with a variety of scenic spots that grab one’s immediate attention.

Interestingly, its semi concave buildings are two Nissen huts which were built in 1949 during the Malaysian Emergency (1948-1956) to house supplies for troops stationed in Cameron Highlands. These historic colonial buildings lend a rich heritage and quaint country ambience. Whether it’s the local flora or the panoramic vantage point overlooking the garden, this BOH Tea Garden is a hidden gem tucked within the forests of Cameron Highlands.
