Welcome to Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi Malaysia

Opened in year 2000, Colmar Tropicale is modelled after 16th century Colmar town, north east of Alsace, France, also incorporating architectural designs and elements from ancient surrounding villages of Riquewihr, Turckheim and Kaysersberg.

The realization of this French themed village derived from the wish list of Malaysia’s fourth Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, who upon his visit to the region of Alsace were so impressed, that it inspired Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan, the founder of Berjaya Corporation Berhad to replicate the actual Colmar town in Malaysia.

The resort comprises of 235 rooms and suites with 6 food & beverage outlets / lounges, which offers a wide selection of local & international cuisine. Meeting rooms and banqueting facilities are also available in the resort.

Please be informed that PETS and FLYING of DRONES are not allowed at Colmar Tropicale, Berjaya Hills.

Bukit Tinggi Colmar’s French Village (Pahang, Malaysia)

1 hour away from Kuala Lumpur to Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi , with such cooling air surrounds is Colmar’s French Village (Colmar Tropicale).

At the entrance of the French Village, there is a small fountain and a hanging bridge, is like you really have entered a castle. Your surrounds are filled with Euro style buildings, you can feel is a different country here. Below the bridge you can see a pond with few pairs of swans, and you can get near to them to take their photos.

At the open area of the village, the roads have rocks on it, just like open square in other countries. They said that the construction material are imported from France itself. They placed a big clock at the square too, is really something new about there, is like you have already travel to different country. Not only these, you can even stay there if you wish to, like living in France?

There is a tall tower there for people to see scenery from above and let the wind blow unto you, and just in front of the tower, there is a wishing pond, a lot of people toss their coin to wish upon it. Along the alley, there will be dancing performance with guitar rhapsody.

They have also souvenir shops, DIY art corner and playground for kids. No matter old and young, is definitely suitable for everyone. If you are hungry, you can sit at one of the coffee shop, drink their coffee and enjoy their French meal.

Wondering what to do at Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi, Malaysia?

Colmar Tropicale Berjaya Hills is a super sweet and adorable French theme resort in Malaysia. In actual fact, it is only a short 1 hour drive away from KL.

Whilst Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi in Malaysia is fairly small, there are loads of things to do in the vicinity. As you can see in the video, you can try out archery, visiting a tiny little dinosaur park, as well as do things such as ziplining and visiting the Japanese village in the area.

For our Colmar Tropicale review, we wanted to show you guys how pretty this little themed resort town is. I’m not sure I would stay in the hotel though. We spent the morning here at Colmar Malaysia and it was plenty of time to allow us to enjoy the pretty-ness, before moving on.

The food at Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi was a bit pricey and okay (nothing flash) and except for the short stroll and snapping photos, all activities close by to the Colmar Tropicale hotel are really pretty basic and small in size.

All in all, we still enjoyed our day out. It was nice to get out of the city. Entrance fees Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi  were affordable and the resort has really been designed to resemble Colmar really well. If you are looking for a day out, then this could be just the thing for you 🙂
