The world's first official Yasmin Ahmad museum (Yasmin Newseum Kong Heng Museum) that focuses on the works and legacy of our very own acclaimed film and commercial director.

The vault at BookXcess Kong Heng Ipoh was owned by United Asian Bank and its origins can be dated back to the 80s. The tiles, vault doors and safety deposit boxes have been preserved in its original state to evoke its rich history.

Kali ini kami berada di BookXcess Ipoh. Bangunannya sebuah bank lama terletak di tengah-tengah bandar Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. Di bahagian ruang bawah tanah yang dilengkapi bilik kebal, sebuah galeri mengabadikan Yasmin Ahmad seorang legenda pembikin filem dalam Industri filem Malaysia.

This time we had a chance to visit BookXcess Ipoh. The building was a bank in centre of Ipoh, the capital city of Perak, Malaysia. There is a basement at this bookstore that complete with the vaults. One of the vaults has become a gallery to remember Yasmin Ahmad, a legendary filmmaker in Malaysian film industry.
